Flat Contact Grill FAQs

2025-02-21

Common problems with flat contact grills include:

Uneven heating: Sometimes there may be a problem with the grill's heating element, causing one part of the grill to heat more strongly and another part to heat less. Possible causes include aging of the electric heating tubes, poor contact, etc.

Temperature control failure: A malfunctioning temperature controller may cause the grill to heat too high or too low to reach the set temperature. This may be due to damage to the thermostat itself or loose connections.

Sticking to the surface of the grill: If the coating on the surface of the grill is damaged, food may stick to it, making it difficult to clean. This is when you need to check the coating for scratches or wear.

Power failure: A loose or damaged power plug, socket, or cord may cause the grill to not work properly. Check that the power cord is firmly connected or replace the power cord.

Cleaning problems: If the grill is not cleaned for a long time, accumulated oil and food residue may affect the heating effect or the taste of the grilled food. Regular cleaning can extend the life of the grill.

Damaged heating plate: The heating plate may be damaged due to overuse or accidental collisions, resulting in reduced heating effect. At this time, the heating plate needs to be replaced.

Improper operation: If the grill is not operated properly, it may overheat or not work properly. Check the instructions to ensure correct use.

If you encounter any of the above problems, you can try to troubleshoot or contact a professional repairman.
